Company Description Bloom Boutique Atelier is a nature-based early learning environment inspired by Reggio Emilia principles, offering preschool programs and a kids club that encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration. The space integrates a family-friendly café and shop, creating a welcoming community hub for children and caregivers. Bloom Boutique Atelier also provides family psychology services to support holistic child development and family wellbeing. In addition, the center offers nanny training, emphasizing high-quality, child-centered care and education. Candidates joining Bloom Boutique Atelier will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on fostering meaningful learning experiences for young children.

Role Description The Nursery Teaching Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based in Cemagi, Bali. The Nursery Teaching Assistant supports lead educators in planning and facilitating age-appropriate, play-based, and nature-oriented learning activities for young children. Daily responsibilities include assisting with classroom preparation , helping guide children through routines, supporting social and emotional development, and ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. The role involves observing children's interests, and communicating clearly with the teaching team and families as needed. The Nursery Teaching Assistant also helps with transitions between activities, supervises children during indoor and outdoor play, and contributes to a calm, respectful atmosphere aligned with Reggio-inspired practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience or training in Assistant Teaching and Education, with an interest in early childhood learning.
  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to interact with children, families, and colleagues in a clear and respectful manner.
  • Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for Working With Children, including patience, empathy, and a commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
  • Prior experience in a preschool, nursery, or childcare setting is highly beneficial.
  • Understanding or interest in Reggio Emilia or nature-based learning approaches is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and follow established classroom routines.
  • Basic proficiency in record-keeping, observation notes, and following guidance from lead teacher is preferred.
