Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse role based at RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping in Yogyakarta. The Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with procedures under the supervision of physicians and senior medical staff. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient information accurately, responding to patient and family questions, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams. The Nurse will follow hospital protocols and infection prevention standards, support patient education on treatments and health maintenance, and participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of care. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid nursing education (Diploma or Bachelor's in Nursing) and active nursing license/registration in Indonesia.
  • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, basic nursing procedures, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and follow hospital policies and clinical guidelines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a respectful and empathetic manner.
  • Commitment to patient safety, infection control standards, and ethical nursing practice.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and remain calm in emergency or high-volume situations.
  • Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and hospital information systems; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, with English skills an advantage.
  • Previous clinical or hospital experience is preferred; new graduates with strong motivation to learn are also encouraged to apply.
