About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong focus on new business development and account growth. This role goes beyond day-to-day client servicingyou will be responsible for identifying opportunities, expanding client portfolios, and driving revenue growth through strategic thinking and creative solutions. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to build scalable partnerships and deliver high-impact campaigns that support both client objectives and agency growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and expand strategic client relationships with a strong focus on long-term growth and new business opportunities.
- Identify upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive incremental revenue.
- Lead the development of strategic proposals, integrated marketing campaigns, and creative solutions that address client business challenges.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and production teams to translate business objectives into effective executions.
- Support new business initiatives, including client pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance of accounts to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and campaign performance to provide actionable business insights to clients.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with both client and agency commercial goals.
- Represent Belalang Studio in client meetings, pitches, and industry engagements, positioning the agency as a strategic growth partner.
- Mentor and guide junior account team members to strengthen account performance and business mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or business development within an advertising, digital, or media agency.
- Strong track record in growing accounts, managing key clients, and contributing to new business wins.
- Solid understanding of brand strategy, integrated marketing, and digital ecosystems.
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients and revenue targets.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with creative, strategy, media, and production teams.
- Confident presenter with experience in client pitches and strategic discussions.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
