Network Infrastructure Engineer / Network Architect – Data Centre & SD-WAN
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer / Network Architect to support enterprise network infrastructure, data centre networking, SD-WAN deployment, and network transformation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting scalable network solutions across data centre, campus, branch, and hybrid environments.
This role requires strong hands-on technical capability, good documentation skills, and experience working with enterprise customers or large-scale infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centre, campus, branch, and WAN environments.
- Support data centre network architecture, including Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, VXLAN/EVPN, leaf-spine fabric, routing, switching, and network segmentation.
- Implement and support SD-WAN solutions, preferably Cisco Viptela / Cisco SD-WAN, including vManage templates, policies, QoS, routing, and security zones.
- Perform network infrastructure deployment, migration, upgrade, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Support data centre modernization projects, including migration from traditional network architecture to SDN-based / software-defined network architecture.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support and root cause analysis for complex network incidents.
- Work closely with solution architects, project managers, vendors, and customers to translate business and technical requirements into practical network solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including HLD, LLD, MOP, UAT, As-Built documentation, BoM, and technical proposals.
- Participate in change management, implementation planning, cutover activities, and post-implementation support.
- Support multi-vendor network environments, including Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, and related technologies.
- Assist in pre-sales or solution design activities where required, including technical clarification, solution presentation, and RFP/RFI support.
Requirements
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in network infrastructure, data centre networking, SD-WAN, or enterprise network implementation.
- Must have hands-on experience in data centre network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, VLAN, STP, and network segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela is highly preferred.
- Experience with Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, VXLAN/EVPN, leaf-spine architecture, or SDN-based data centre environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise network migration, infrastructure upgrade, or data centre modernization projects.
- Good troubleshooting skills across multi-vendor network environments.
- Able to produce technical documentation such as HLD, LLD, MOP, UAT, As-Built, and technical proposals.
- Experience with wireless infrastructure such as Cisco Wireless or Aruba will be an added advantage.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST API, or Cisco DevNet will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with internal teams, customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Must be based in Jakarta or willing to work in Jakarta.
Certifications
- CCNP certification is required or strongly preferred.
- CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center, or CCNP Security will be advantageous.
- Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, DevNet, Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper, or cloud-related certifications will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a strong hands-on network professional with proven experience in data centre networking, SD-WAN implementation, enterprise infrastructure support, and technical documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working in a project-driven environment and able to support both implementation and troubleshooting activities.
