Network Fabric Resident Engineer
Primary Focus:
- Operate and support SN5600, SN5400, and SN4700 Ethernet switching environments.
- Monitor fabric health, connectivity, and performance stability.
- Troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity across server-to-switch-to-storage paths.
Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Strong knowledge of large-scale Data Center Ethernet fabrics.
- Experience with low-latency, high-throughput AI/HPC networking environments.
- Perform fabric health checks, validate link integrity, congestion, and end-to-end connectivity.
- Understanding of lossless Ethernet concepts, traffic behavior, and performance tuning.
- Experience with switch provisioning, firmware lifecycle management, network telemetry, and day-2 operations.
- Troubleshoot and isolate issues related to optics, cabling, ports, VLANs, routing, and network policies.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across Dell, NVIDIA, and third-party network components.
