Network Engineer L1 (Dispatch)

Job Requirements For NETWORK ENGINEER L1

· Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points · Perform onsite rack installation, cabling, and hardware replacement activities · Execute configuration tasks using console access and remote management tools · Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis (Layer 1–3 issues) · Coordinate with remote engineering teams (e.g., Systal engineers) during deployment and fault resolution · Conduct hardware health checks and preventive maintenance activities · Ensure compliance with site access, safety, and operational procedures · Support migration, upgrade, and expansion projects for network infrastructure · Document all activities, configurations, and changes accurately in service management tools Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching) · Hands-on experience with enterprise network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or similar) · Knowledge of console cable usage, CLI-based configuration, and troubleshooting · Familiarity with wireless access point (AP) deployment and optimization · Experience with structured cabling and rack setup · Understanding of network monitoring
