Role Summary
We are looking for a strategic and performance-driven National Account Manager (NAM) to lead our nationwide growth in the Modern Trade Independent Channel. The NAM will take full ownership of local retail partnerships, lead a team of regional Account Officers, and ensure top-class distribution, visibility, and execution across Indonesia.
This role is critical in delivering our ambitious market expansion plans by managing key accounts, optimizing channel strategies, and leading cross-regional sales execution efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong commercial relationships with Modern Trade Independent accounts.
- Own and drive sales performance, profitability, and execution for the modern trade independent channel nationwide.
- Develop, implement, and track national sales plans in alignment with company objectives and brand priorities.
- Translate national strategies into actionable regional execution plans through the Account Officer team.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Officers and field personnel across multiple regions to ensure consistent execution and market presence.
- Monitor team performance through regular reviews, KPIs, and field visits.
- Ensure high standards of product availability, planogram compliance, in-store visibility, and promotional execution across all regions.
- Work with Trade Marketing to implement promotions program effectively at the store level.
- Lead annual and quarterly business reviews, negotiations, and trade agreements with key accounts.
- Set and monitor pricing strategies, trade terms, and promotional budgets, ensuring compliance and ROI.
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities in underpenetrated regions and cities.
- Expand national footprint by onboarding new independent modern trade partners and regional accounts.
- Track market trends, competition activity, and customer feedback to refine go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 812 years of experience in FMCG, Beauty, or Personal Care, with significant exposure to national account management and Modern Trade Independent.
- Proven experience in leading regional teams and driving execution through a multi-level sales structure.
- Strong understanding of Indonesia's MTI landscape and distribution models.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Highly strategic, analytical, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia regions
