Job Description

  • Support various functions as assigned by Kampung Senang Charity and Education Foundation
  • Assisting the Centre Manager to oversee Mobility Aids Services and Training Centre including overseeing all environmental safety aspects of premises
  • Servicing, maintenance and repair of mobility devices and equipment such as electronic or manual wheelchairs, electric scooters, commodes, walking sticks, etc.
  • Assist with community outreach, event planning, and fundraising efforts.
  • Contribute to team success through proactive collaboration and commitment to the foundation's mission.
  • Assume administrative duties, ensuring seamless daily operations.
  • Engage with volunteers and donors to foster a supportive environment.
  • 3-5 years mechanical and electrical experience; specific experience in mobility equipment, e.g. motorised wheelchair , electric scooter is preferable
  • A basic understanding of electronics and electronic control systems.
  • Good diagnostic/fault finding skills
  • Practical, hands-on and can-do attitude, and willingness to learn and follow company procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, and the patience and understanding required to deal with our client base of disabled persons and vulnerable seniors.
  • Preferred: Class 3 driving license to be able to do on-site servicing for stay-alone seniors or PWDs.
  • Able to carry heavy loads.
  • Location: Jurong or Tampines
