Homeroom Teacher – Montessori

About the Role

GPS is looking for a passionate Homeroom Teacher for our Montessori division. You will create a nurturing, child-centered learning environment that supports each child's holistic development: cognitive, social, emotional, and motor. Experience in ECE/PAUD is required; Montessori background is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement play-based, child-centered lesson plans

• Prepare safe and developmentally appropriate learning materials and environments

• Use varied methods: storytelling, role-play, music, art, and educational games

• Conduct regular observations and maintain student portfolios

• Apply positive discipline to support social skills and self-management

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on child development

• Assist in the Indonesian Culture Exposure program for expatriate students

• Maintain accurate attendance, documentation, and developmental reports

Requirements

• S1 in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) or relevant field

• Experience in ECE / PAUD is required

• Montessori teaching experience is a strong plus

• Skilled in child observation and portfolio development

• Patient, empathetic, strong interpersonal communication

• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office

• Active communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
