Job Description

As our Modern Trade and Offline Activation Specialist, your mission is two fold: you will pitch and secure placement contracts with major local retailers, drugstore chains, and premium stockists, while simultaneously designing and executing high impact offline brand activations. From managing modern trade relationships to launching experiential pop up booths, you will bridge corporate sales negotiations with creative on the ground marketing to ensure Velixir dominates both retail shelves and consumer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, map, and send business inquiries to potential local retailers, independent drugstores, and corporate retail chains to unlock new distribution channels.
  • Lead end to end commercial negotiations including margins, listing fees, payment terms, and initial stock allocations with potential retail partners.
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute offline brand activation programs including pop up booths, community events, and in store promotional setups to drive foot traffic and offline sales.
  • Supervise the operational execution of offline events from booth production, layout setup, inventory logistics, to managing on site promoters or beauty advisors.
  • Maintain excellent and long term relationships with existing B2B accounts, ensuring smooth product replenishment and preventing stockouts at the retail level.
  • Conduct frequent field visits and routine store checks to audit real time inventory levels, shelf visibility, and overall display quality of both regular shelves and activation booths.
  • Analyze sales performance data per retail account and event activation to evaluate ROI and optimize future offline marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven experience in B2B Sales, Modern Trade Distribution, or Event Operations Activation, preferably within the cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of handling retail accounts and organizing offline events, pop up projects, or experiential brand activations.
  • Having an active, pre existing network or database of local retailers, beauty stores, or event vendors in Indonesia is a massive advantage.
  • Exceptional communication, corporate pitching, and sharp negotiation skills to seal deals with retail decision makers and event partners.
  • Highly resilient with strong project management skills, physical stamina, and absolute willingness to travel frequently for event setups and field audits.
  • Self motivated, highly proactive, and capable of working independently to meet aggressive distribution and brand activation targets.
