Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mobile Engineer Intern to join our development team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to the mobile application development lifecycle, from design to implementation and testing. You will work closely with experienced engineers and receive guidance to grow your technical and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of mobile applications (Android/iOS) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code review sessions and provide constructive feedback.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure application quality.
- Assist with debugging and troubleshooting emerging issues.
- Learn and implement the latest technologies and best practices in mobile development.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
- Document code and development processes.
Requirement:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor&aposs degree or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Possess a basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Basic experience in mobile application development (Android/iOS) is a plus.
- For Android: Familiarity with Java/Kotlin, Android Studio, XML Layouts, and Android activity lifecycle.
- For iOS: Familiarity with Swift/Objective-C, Xcode, UIKit/SwiftUI, and iOS app lifecycle.
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter will also be considered.
- Having a portfolio of personal or academic mobile projects (even simple ones) is a significant advantage.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and how to consume them.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab for version control.
- Ability to learn quickly, be proactive, and take initiative.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
