Tanoto Foundation Indonesia has grown in term of activities, grant size and the number of staff in the last few years. Alongside with that growth, Tanoto Foundation had evolve to focus and balancing out between program implementation and advocacy. The number of our beneficiaries also growing in all over Indonesia. In light of building learning culture at the Foundation, a staff dedicated for facilitating organizational learning and documenting lesson learned is necessary. The MLE Lead (Learning) will also support the global MLE team to ensure alignment, standardization of practices, and cross-pollination of learning across countries where Tanoto Foundation operates.
Job description
MONITORING and EVALUATION
- Design global-level theory of change, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, methodologies, and tools as well as to track the foundation's impact
- Together with Strategy team, co-develop investment plan based on evidence and program lessons learned.
- Support countries to develop robust measurement plan, if needed.
LEARNING
- Capture and document best practices and lessons learned across countries where Tanoto Foundation operates around the themes Early Childhood, Basic Education, Leadership Development, and Medical Research.
- Conduct reflection and sharing activities to disseminate the lessons learned.
- Develop and manage global knowledge management platform, knowledge management ambassador and activities.
- Develop and implement digital-based capacity building programs for staff and MLE team members around measurement and other social development tools.
- Support global policy implementation, program alignment, and standardization of processes across countries where the foundation operates
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's degree in development studies, social sciences, public policy or related field. Master's degree is preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in MLE (the Learning is emphasized), knowledge management, and organizational learning. Having thematic knowledge in education and health is an advantage.
Specific knowledge and aptitude
- Track record in capacity building and facilitation skills across diverse international teams.
- Have previously worked with senior executives
- Strong analytical, writing, communication, project management, and coordination abilities
- Mastery of English, verbal and written, is mandatory
- Willing to travel to the foundation's operation areas and work off-office hour for meeting with colleagues in different time zone.
