Description
The Mixologist is responsible for creating and serving exceptional mocktails, and other beverages to guests in the hotel's bar and lounge areas. This role requires exceptional mixology skills, a deep understanding of mocktail trends, as well as a strong customer service orientation.
Beverage Expertise and Execution
- Concoct and serve a high-quality mocktails using premium free-spirits and fresh ingredients
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the hotel's beverage menu and non-alcoholic offerings
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and suggestions to guests, enhancing their overall dining and drinking experience
- Ensure consistent and precise preparation of all beverages, adhering to standardized recipes and techniques
Guest Service and Satisfaction
- Deliver exceptional customer service, anticipating guests needs and responding promptly to their requests
- Engage with guests in a friendly and personable manner, building rapport and fostering a welcoming atmosphere
- Address guest concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues to the Restaurant / Beverage Manager as needed
- Contribute to the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the bar, helping to create a memorable guest experience
Operational Efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment and glassware are in good condition
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure sufficient stock
- Adhere to all applicable safety and sanitation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations
- Collaborating with the Restaurant / Beverage Manager and Food & Beverage team to optimize workflows and procedures.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Hospitality, Culinary, or Bartender certification preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Bartender in upscale bar or restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of mocktail recipes, and mixology techniques
- Proficiency in preparing a wide range of classic and contemporary mocktails
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to engage with guests and provide exceptional service
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and bar management software
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Local market experience is an asset
