- Participate in full-cycle Metadata Management projects and ensure best practices are applied.
- Develop and maintain data catalogs, data glossaries, and data dictionaries for company data assets.
- Collect, document, and verify metadata, including data definitions, sources, owners, data lineage, and classification in a structured manner.
- Manage and use metadata/catalog tools to ensure metadata is stored and easily accessible by data users.
- Coordinate with data owners and system owners to complete and ensure metadata accuracy.
- Support the development of cross-organizational data classification policies.
- Assist the metadata team in ensuring documentation quality and consistency of information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 3 years of experience in Data Management.
- Experience participating in full-cycle Metadata projects.
- Understanding of metadata management concepts and the ability to create data catalogs, glossaries, and dictionaries for company data assets.
- Skilled in collecting and documenting metadata (definitions, sources, owners, lineage, classification) in a structured way.
- Proficient in using and managing metadata/catalog tools (e.g., data catalog software) to ensure metadata is stored and accessible.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with data and system owners.
- Leadership capability to lead a metadata team and develop cross-organizational data classification policies.
- Certification in Data Management is a plus.
