Medical & Nursing Services Department Head (Surabaya)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily medical service operations to ensure quality, safe, and efficient patient care.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing teams, and supporting departments to ensure smooth clinical service delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate medical service performance, including manpower planning, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, patient safety, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Support the development and implementation of medical service programs, clinical guidelines, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare departmental work plans, budgets, and periodic reports while monitoring the achievement of departmental targets.
• Develop and guide the Medical Services team to maintain a collaborative and patient-focused working environment.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (General Practitioner) with a valid STR.
• Master's Degree in Hospital Administration (MARS) is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospital medical services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Good understanding of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, patient safety, and hospital accreditation.
• Certified in Basic EKG, ACLS, and ATLS.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in managing medical teams and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Willing to be placed in Surabaya.
