Role Summary
Responsible for monitoring hospitalized patients from both clinical and cost perspectives, ensuring the appropriateness of medical care, identifying potential risks, and providing medical insights and recommendations to support quality healthcare delivery and cost effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Case & Clinical Monitoring
- Monitor hospitalized patients based on established monitoring criteria.
- Review patient medical conditions, treatment progress, and hospitalization plans.
- Identify high-risk or complex cases that require further attention.
- Provide medical recommendations and insights regarding patient care and treatment progress.
Cost Monitoring
- Monitor hospitalization costs and length of stay.
- Identify cases with significant cost drivers or prolonged hospitalization.
- Support cost containment initiatives while ensuring quality of care.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with hospitals and relevant stakeholders to obtain patient updates and treatment information.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports.
- Provide medical insights and recommendations to support internal evaluation and client reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
- Ability to interpret medical records, laboratory results, and supporting examinations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Fresh graduates are welcome.
