Media Preparation Operator

Job Description Summary

Responsible for supporting plant tissue culture laboratory operations by preparing media and materials, maintaining laboratory cleanliness, and assisting in planting and culture activities to ensure smooth and efficient laboratory processes.

Job Description

• Weigh and prepare chemicals according to established formulations and laboratory procedures.

• Dispense and prepare culture media for tissue culture activities.

• Assist in the preparation of materials and equipment required for planting and cultivation processes.

• Clean, sterilize, and maintain culture tubes, laboratory glassware, and equipment.

• Ensure laboratory work areas are clean, organized, and comply with hygiene and safety standards.

• Support daily laboratory operations and assist technical staff as required.

• Maintain accurate records of media preparation and laboratory activities.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory safety guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or Diploma (D3) in Agriculture, Biology, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of laboratory practices and chemical handling is preferred.

• Detail-oriented and able to work accurately with measurements and procedures.

• Placement in Sentul.
