Join EX Venture in Bali to create high-quality visual content for our company, Academy, portfolio ventures, events, and digital campaigns. This role is for creative individuals who want hands-on experience in video production, photography, editing, storytelling, and AI-powered content creation.
You will take part in the entire production process, from developing concepts and planning shoots to filming, editing, and delivering content for social media, websites, advertisements, interviews, and company communications. You will work closely with the marketing and leadership teams to transform ideas, projects, and everyday activities into engaging visual stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film, and edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, websites, and advertising campaigns.
- Organize and execute photo and video shoots at the EX Venture office, Academy activities, company events, project locations, and other venues across Bali.
- Capture interviews, testimonials, educational content, behind-the-scenes footage, team activities, and lifestyle content.
- Edit videos using pacing, transitions, sound design, subtitles, motion graphics, visual effects, and colour grading.
- Produce professional photographs for websites, social media, articles, campaigns, events, and company profiles.
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, shot lists, storyboards, and content formats in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Use AI tools to generate, enhance, repurpose, and scale visual content, including images, videos, voiceovers, avatars, scripts, and creative variations.
- Turn existing footage into multiple content formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific versions.
- Maintain an organized media library containing raw footage, edited content, photographs, templates, audio, and project files.
- Ensure that all content follows the brand identity, visual guidelines, messaging, and quality standards of EX Venture and its portfolio companies.
- Monitor social media and visual-content trends to propose new creative ideas and formats.
- Support livestreams, podcasts, webinars, presentations, and internal or external events when required.
- Coordinate with team members, mentors, founders, participants, and external partners during productions.
- Manage several content projects simultaneously while meeting publishing schedules and deadlines.
Role-Relevant Skills
- You are currently pursuing, or have recently completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Media Production, Film, Photography, Communication, Digital Media, Marketing, Design, or a related field.
- You have a strong interest in media, storytelling, entrepreneurship, AI, sustainability, and innovation.
- Video Editing: Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Photography and Videography: Understanding of camera settings, lighting, composition, framing, lenses, and audio recording.
- Content Production: Ability to take a project from an initial idea through shooting, editing, revision, and final delivery.
- Visual Storytelling: Ability to create content that communicates a clear message, emotion, or narrative.
- Short-Form Content: Understanding of engaging hooks, pacing, retention, captions, and platform-specific editing styles.
- Colour Grading: Ability to create consistent, professional, and visually appealing footage.
- Audio Editing: Basic knowledge of dialogue cleaning, music selection, sound effects, mixing, and synchronization.
- Motion Graphics: Experience with titles, animated text, lower thirds, graphics, and basic visual effects is a strong advantage.
- AI Content Tools: Experience using generative AI tools for images, videos, scripts, voiceovers, avatars, editing, or content repurposing.
- File Management: Ability to organize footage, photographs, project files, exports, and backups clearly and consistently.
- Portfolio: A portfolio, showreel, social media page, or examples of previous creative work are strongly preferred.
- Drone Experience: Experience operating a drone and creating aerial content is a huge plus.
- Design Skills: Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, or similar creative tools is a plus.
- Equipment Knowledge: Experience working with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, smartphones, microphones, stabilizers, lighting equipment, or other production tools is a plus.
