About The Role

As a member of the Media Futures Group (MFG) APAC activation team, you will help execute the tactical planning, setup and activation of social media campaigns across multiple countries via a self-service ad platform (e.g. Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn, X and Youtube). The Media Activation team leverages their mastery of each channel to make sure its recommendations are consistently excellent and innovative, and that in-channel performance and data integrity is maximized. This role is for the Social team, part of the Media Activation team.

Role Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Able to own E2E campaigns from client brief to channel planning (e.g. budget, forecasting, audience, format), execution (trafficking and managing offshore team), QA and reporting.
  • Develop strong relationships with your client, acting as key channel expert
  • Develop strong relationships with your partners (Social publishers), acting as their key
  • contact from MFG
  • Be able to communicate with clients on subjects outside your remit, and provide them with
  • useful insight
  • Knowledge of media planning fundamentals e.g. reach, frequency, channels, formats, etc.
  • Ownership and monitoring of campaign to ensure that the Social team provides proactive,
  • strategic and tactical optimization recommendations
  • Growing knowledge of adjacent and/or connected disciplines including Planning, Data Strategy, Analytics and AdOps
  • Growing knowledge of the channels/ad-tech ecosystem (publishers, data, platform, etc.) for specific APAC market(s) you are working on
  • Lead bi-weekly reports and half yearly campaign wrap ups for all Social platforms
  • Regularly contribute to media best practices and campaign processes
  • Communicates planning successes, failures, and escalations to line manager in a timely manner
  • Manage the successful task delegation of work for 1-2 junior team members

Required

Desired background experience:

  • Approximately 3-5 years experience in a digital media agency
  • Expert knowledge on Social platforms (Meta, Youtube, X and LinkedIn)
  • High attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers is key; You must be able to analyze raw data, draw insights and develop actionable recommendations as needed
  • Proven experience managing people/teams
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc)
  • A passion for everything digital, with an active interest and understanding of digital marketing/advertising industry trends

Desirable

  • Previous experience working on social media ads, Youtube and media planning
  • Proficiency planning and deploying campaigns via self-serve ad platforms (e.g. Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn, X and Youtube)
  • Facebook Blueprint certification desirable
