Mechanical Technician – Paper / Paperboard Area
Job Purpos
eResponsible for executing mechanical maintenance activities in the Paper or Paperboard production area to support equipment reliability, production efficiency, and operational safety

Key Responsibiliti
- esPerform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for Paper/Paperboard production equipmen
- t.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on pumps, motors, gearboxes, rollers, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic system
- s.Support maintenance activities for paper machine, board machine, winder, rewinder, and finishing equipmen
- t.Conduct routine inspection and condition monitoring to identify potential failure
- s.Carry out alignment, lubrication, bearing replacement, and mechanical adjustment activitie
- s.Assist during machine shutdown, overhaul, and improvement project
- s.Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety standards and procedure
- s.Coordinate closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performanc
- e.Maintain proper documentation and maintenance record
- s.Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiative

Requireme
- ntsBachelor or Diploma education in Mechanical Engineering or related fie
- ld.Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Mechanical Technician in Paper or Paperboard indust
- ry.Experience handling Paper Machine or Board Machine equipment is preferr
- ed.Good knowledge of rotating equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical troubleshooti
- ng.Familiar with preventive and predictive maintenance practic
