About the Role
The Maintenance Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of SCGs manufacturing facilities. With a focus on mechanical systems and equipment, this position involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement projects that keep production lines running at optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance windows without disrupting operations.
- Review equipment performance data and recommend upgrades or improvements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare reports on maintenance performance, downtime analysis, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 24 years of experience in plant maintenance or mechanical engineering roles; fresh graduates with strong internships may be considered.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, rotating equipment, and maintenance methodologies.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CMMS is an advantage.
- Clear communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
