About the role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Formulatrix Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and prototyping of innovative automation lab equipment. This is a full-time position based in Central Java, where you will be responsible for designing, prototyping, testing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems to meet the objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting research and analysis to create the concept of new products.
- Designing and prototyping mechanical components and systems.
- Evaluating the test and design result, and redesigning until the product is ready to be manufactured.
- Analyzing design requirements, constraints, and specifications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to support manufacturing and assembly.
- Working and collaborating with other professionals within and outside the engineering sector.
What we're looking for
- Minimum diploma degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Has experience in mechanical design and manufacturing (machining and fabrication).
- Has experience in mechanism design, automation, or special purpose machines.
- Have the ability of using CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
- Have the ability to participate in DFMEAs and support PFMEAs.
- Willing to work in Salatiga or Semarang according to the project needs.
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
