Material Master Data Management Officer

Job Description:

• Manage the creation, updating, and maintenance of material master data in SAP, particularly within the Material Management (MM) module.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, including R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement, to collect required data, documents, and approvals.
• Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal SOPs and data standards.
• Monitor and follow up on material master data requests to ensure timely processing.
• Perform data validation and quality checks before data entry or updates.
• Validate and reconcile data between SAP and related applications using SQL queries.
• Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
• Support master data audits, reporting, data cleansing, migration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality, or related fields.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis across multiple systems.
• Familiarity with SAP, particularly the Material Management (MM) module, is a strong advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Good communication and coordination skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation systems.
• Experience in the manufacturing or FMCG industry is a plus.
