About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Master Planning Lead to lead end-to-end planning activities across our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving integrated planning processes that ensure the right balance between customer demand, production capacity, inventory investment, and operational efficiency.

You will lead the activities of Master Planning, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams to develop robust planning strategies that improve customer service, optimize inventory, maximize production performance, and support business growth. This position also plays a critical role in planning transformation initiatives, ERP optimization, planning governance, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Master Planning, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, and Demand & Supply Planning.
  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by aligning demand forecasts, production capacity, inventory strategies, and business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain optimized master production schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capability, and inventory objectives.
  • Monitor production capacity and resource utilization to ensure efficient execution while identifying and mitigating potential supply risks.
  • Establish inventory strategies that optimize working capital while maintaining high customer service levels.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams to ensure effective planning execution and customer fulfillment.
  • Drive planning transformation initiatives, including ERP optimization, planning system enhancements, and digitalization of planning processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma principles and best practices to improve planning efficiency and operational performance.
  • Coach, develop, and lead team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing quality, safety, and environmental requirement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline. Master's Degree (MBA or Supply Chain Management) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, or related functions, preferred within manufacturing industries.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading team or project. Experience leading regional or global planning organizations is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in Master Planning, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, inventory optimization, and supply chain planning principles.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (PP/MM, APO, or IBP preferred), Oracle, or equivalent ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Proven experience leading ERP implementation, planning transformation, or supply chain optimization projects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and process optimization methodologies.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and change management skills. Results-driven with a strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
