Manage the end-to-end product master data lifecycle across all product types, including Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Work-in-Progress (WIP), Finished Goods (FG), spare parts, construction items, and service-related materials.
Establish and maintain product data governance framework, including taxonomy, product hierarchy, and standardized workflows for creation, update, approval, and retirement of master data.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, and consistency across all platforms (ERP, e-commerce, supply chain, marketing systems) through continuous validation and data quality controls.
Develop and enforce data standards, naming conventions, attribute templates, and classifications in line with internal governance policies and external regulatory requirements.
Lead master data cleansing, enrichment, and deduplication initiatives to improve data usability and eliminate redundancy.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Business Process Owners, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, QA, R&D, Procurement) to ensure product data supports business processes and decision-making.
Monitor and drive compliance to data governance policies, escalate deviations, and lead root cause analysis and resolution for data-related issues.
Provide subject matter expertise during audits, ERP implementations, digital transformations, or integration projects impacting product master data.
Support automation and transformation initiatives to improve data accuracy, reduce manual efforts, and drive digital readiness in the MDM landscape.
Stay abreast of best practices in Master Data Management (MDM), Product Information Management (PIM), and emerging technologies, and proactively propose improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines.
Minimum 35 years of experience in Product Master Data Management, ideally within manufacturing, distribution, or retail environments.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and PIM/MDM tools (e.g., Informatica, Stibo, Syndigo, Riversand).
Strong understanding of product lifecycle, supply chain processes, and business process integration.
Proficient in data analysis, data quality assessment, and root cause problem-solving.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for data integrity.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and manage stakeholders at various levels.
Experience in data governance, workflow design, and documentation of standards and procedures.
Familiarity with data migration, transformation, and system enhancement projects is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into data requirements and vice versa
