At SoftwareOne, the Marketplace Pre-Sales Consultant plays a key role in enabling sales success by shaping the right solutions for our customers. You will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with both clients and internal teams to translate business needs into commercially viable technology solutions.

 

You will be part of the Marketplace function, partnering closely with sales, vendors, and internal delivery teams. The team focuses on driving growth across multiple publisher solutions, supporting both new and existing customers across the region.

 

 

What you'll do

  • Partner with sales and customers to understand business needs and scope solution opportunities
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations highlighting value and outcomes
  • Design solution proposals, including quotes and statements of work (SOWs), aligned to customer requirements
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across multiple software publishers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure solution feasibility, pricing accuracy, and successful handover
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and help drive growth with assigned vendor partners
Job Requirements
  • Strong understanding of software solutions and the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) landscape
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable solutions
  • Experience supporting sales cycles, including solution design and proposal development
  • Commercial awareness, including pricing, margins, and competitive positioning
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities (cross-sell / upsell)
