Our client, a rapidly growing global automotive brand, is currently expanding its leadership team in Indonesia and is looking to appoint a Marketing Director.
As the business continues to scale in the region, this role will be instrumental in building brand presence, leading strategic marketing initiatives, and driving market growth in a highly competitive automotive landscape.
Responsibilities
• Lead the overall marketing strategy and brand development for the Indonesian market, including brand positioning, brand identity management, and integrated brand communications, to drive brand recognition and sustainable market share growth.
• Oversee the establishment and management of the sales system and dealer network, ensuring the achievement of annual sales targets while maintaining market discipline and channel compliance.
• Manage government relations, industry engagement, and external partnerships to ensure regulatory compliance, policy alignment, and access to relevant industry resources.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing local team, strengthening organizational capability and execution to ensure effective delivery of strategic objectives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• More than 20 years of experience in automotive marketing and sales leadership, including at least 10 years in senior management roles with proven strategic and people leadership capabilities.
• Solid understanding of the Indonesian automotive market, including dealer networks and channel management, with demonstrated experience in government or industry engagement.
• Prior experience working with Chinese automotive brands in Indonesia is strongly preferred, with familiarity with Chinese operating models and international expansion requirements.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
