Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The Marketing Communication & Branding Division Head will oversee the development and execution of communication strategies to enhance brand identity and visibility. This role plays a strategic part in designing and executing integrated marketing communication and branding strategies for the company's flagship destinations: Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple, and Ratu Boko. The successful candidate will lead efforts to strengthen world-class destination branding, increase awareness, and deliver impactful and consistent communication experiences for both domestic and international audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication and branding strategies to strengthen the positioning of Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko at both national and global levels.
- Lead the planning and implementation of integrated campaigns (online & offline), including digital marketing, media relations, events, partnerships, and content strategy to drive engagement and visitor growth.
- Ensure consistency of brand identity and storytelling across all touchpoints, including oversight of creative direction and visual identity.
- Manage relationships with media, agencies, influencers, and strategic partners to expand brand reach and visibility.
- Conduct market research and analyze tourism trends and consumer behavior to develop relevant and impactful communication strategies.
- Oversee and optimize the use of marketing tools and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and ensure achievement of KPIs (awareness, engagement, conversion).
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Marketing Communication & Branding team to achieve performance targets and enhance team capabilities.
- Manage the marketing communication budget effectively and ensure strong ROI across all initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, tourism experience, etc.) to ensure alignment of communication strategies with the overall customer journey.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing Communication, Branding, or related fields, preferably with exposure to tourism, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong understanding of various marketing tools, including digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads), social media analytics, CRM tools, content management systems, and campaign performance tracking tools.
- Proven strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
- Expertise in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications.
- Exceptional Communication abilities to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and enhancing brand identity and visibility.
- Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Experience in the tourism or destination management industry is advantageous.
