Job Description

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Management

  • Plan, lead, mentor, and guide the marketing team in strategy development and execution.
  • Provide clear direction, training, and support to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, agility, and high standards.
  • Lead through both direction and involvement, contributing where needed to drive outcomes

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop and maintain a long-term brand positioning strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Act as the brand guardian, ensuring all marketing collaterals, pitches, and digital touchpoints strictly adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Refine the aesthetic direction of marketing assets to ensure they remain premium and relevant to the experiential industry.
  • Strengthen branding through curated portfolios, marketing collaterals, and brand assets

Marketing Strategy & Business Growth

  • Translate high-level business goals into actionable marketing roadmaps that drive client acquisition and support revenue targets.
  • Act as the strategic bridge between Sales, Events, and Creative teams to ensure concepts are marketable, brand-aligned, and executed seamlessly.
  • Identify and drive key strategies relevant to the events and experiential industry.
  • Translate insights into clear, compelling storytelling and marketing directions and ensure a unified brand and messaging approach across all departments.
  • Support the development of client-facing materials, pitches, and presentations

Market Insights & Competitive Analysis

  • Analyze data across website, social media, and campaigns to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Monitor industry trends within the events and experiential sector to ensure marketing strategies remain fresh and competitive.
  • Conduct regular competitor benchmarking, analyzing their digital presence, service offerings, and brand positioning to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Gather and synthesize client feedback and sales data to help refine messaging and improve the effectiveness of marketing collateral.
  • Identify target audience shifts and emerging sub-sectors to help the team tailor content and pitches more effectively.

Digital & Content Strategy

  • Design and oversee an integrated digital marketing strategy (SEO, SEM, paid media, content).
  • Lead social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and refine content, ensuring strong storytelling and brand alignment.
  • Oversee content production (in-house and external), maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Leverage marketing automation, personalization, and AI tools to improve efficiency and impact.

Partnerships, PR & Brand Visibility

  • Coordinate PR efforts and manage relationships with media, partners, and influencers.
  • Identify award opportunities and industry events to position the company and its leadership as industry experts.
  • Support strategic collaborations that expand the brand's reach within the experiential and events sector.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and analyze KPIs across all channels, providing monthly reports on campaign ROI and website performance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to pivot or optimize strategies based on real-time results.
  • Ensure all marketing efforts remain aligned with business objectives and market dynamics

Budget Management

  • Develop, manage, and allocate marketing budgets effectively.
  • Monitor the marketing budget, ensuring spend is optimized and tracked accurately against projections.

Requirements

  • Proven 5-7 years of experience in strategic marketing, brand positioning, and market expansion within the events industry.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making, audience segmentation, and marketing analytics.
  • Strong ability to anticipate industry shifts and adapt strategies for long-term growth.
  • Experience leading high-level marketing initiatives that drive revenue and brand authority.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
