Job Description

As a Marketing Budget Team, you will be responsible for managing budget administration, monitoring and analyzing spending effectiveness, and delivering accurate reporting to support efficient and compliant marketing investment decisions.

What will you do

  • Manage end-to-end Marcomm budget administration processes, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), invoice tracking, goods receipt, and supporting documentation with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor budget utilization across brands, channels, and marketing activities/campaigns against approved budget plans, and prepare monthly variance analysis reports.
  • Conduct periodic marketing spending effectiveness analysis (ROI/ROMI), including correlation analysis with sales and offtake performance, to support business evaluation and decision-making by Marketing leadership.
  • Develop budget allocation scenarios and spending efficiency projections to support strategic planning and resource optimization.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve budget trackers, reporting templates, and campaign documentation to ensure data consistency, transparency, and traceability across the Marcomm team.
  • Manage budget tracking and documentation for ESG/CSR initiatives under Marcomm, ensuring spending records are complete and audit-ready.
  • Act as the key liaison between Marcomm and cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth budget execution and compliance with timelines.
  • Identify process gaps and operational bottlenecks within budget management and reporting workflows, and propose scalable process improvements.
  • Prepare regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on budget utilization, spending efficiency, key insights, and potential risks for Marcomm leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Support ad-hoc business analysis and reporting requests related to marketing investments, campaign performance, and budget planning.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or other related fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Budget Analysis, Business Analysis, Commercial Finance, Marketing Finance, FP&A, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, IF formulas, dashboard creation, and tracker development.
  • Solid understanding of budget control processes and financial documentation, including PR, PO, invoices, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience conducting basic to intermediate-level financial and business analyses, including ROI/ROMI, variance analysis, budget utilization, and spending effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and other business functions.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Accurate, or NetSuite is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and maintaining high standards of data accuracy and integrity.
