The manufacturing engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, Manufacturing Engineering will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning in Assembly and Test Shop.
As the Manufacturing Engineer Subsea Production Process and Equipment Manufacturing will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage T&A equipment
Create manufacturing order routing and ensure required procedure requirement to support production process
Prepare rework routing under NCR to provide WI and or appropriate procedure
Establish standard cycle time on manufacturing process and monitor the actual achievement
Prepare best tooling to optimize production performance on both quality and quantity
Coordinate problem solving on tooling and fixture test equipment application
Conduct thorough analysis on manufacturing variances
Perform statistical approach on manufacturing performance reporting
Monitoring receiving, asset tracking, storage, preservation of test equipment
Pressure testing equipment 705 procedure implementation in Batam Site, in regards test equipment tracking, inspection and maintenance, quarantine inactive/incompliance test equipment, storage and preservation.
To be successful in this role you will:
Knowledge in mechanical engineering
Bachelor's degree in (Mechanical/Manufacturing/Material) Engineering.
Prior experience with Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
Prior experience with Oil & Gas Manufacturing Such as Surface Valves, X-mass Tree, Subsea X-mass Tree are preferred.
Understanding on Test & Assembly Processes (FAT, eFAT, SIT, SRT, etc..) are preferred.
Understanding on Pressure test equipment knowledge
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong MS office skills.
Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
