Job Description

Role Description The Mandarin Translator is a full-time, on-site role located in Gresik. The individual will be responsible for translating documents, emails, and presentations between Mandarin and English (and/or Bahasa Indonesia, if applicable), ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and revising translated materials, providing real-time interpretation during meetings or calls, and supporting various departments in their communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English (and preferably Bahasa Indonesia), with excellent reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Experience in written translation of business documents, emails, and presentations, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to provide oral interpretation in meetings and discussions, including consecutive or liaison interpreting.
Proficiency with standard office software and tools used for document preparation and communication.
Previous experience in a translation or language support role is preferred; experience in corporate or industrial settings is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Gresik, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly with colleagues at different levels.
