Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Mandarin Translator role responsible for providing Mandarin-Indonesian and English translation and interpretation support for Production and Maintenance teams. The role aims to ensure effective communication between Chinese-speaking and local employees, facilitate daily coordination and technical discussions, and support smooth production and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Mandarin–Indonesian and English translation and interpretation support to the Production and Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
2. Facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking managers/supervisors and Indonesian employees within the Production and Maintenance teams.
3. Translate production and maintenance-related documents, reports, work instructions, SOPs, and other operational materials.
4. Provide interpretation support during meetings, briefings, training sessions, and daily coordination activities.
5. Support communication and follow-up regarding production and maintenance issues, work progress, and operational matters.
6. Assist in preparing, translating, and organizing production and maintenance reports as required.
7. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between Production, Maintenance, and other related departments.
8. Perform other translation, coordination, and administrative support duties as assigned.

General Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Chinese Literature, Chinese Language, or a related field; OR
2. Candidates who have studied in China are highly preferred.
3. Minimum HSK 4 certification.
4. Good command of Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
5. Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
6. Able to work on-site in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment.
7. Previous experience in production, maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or engineering is an advantage.
8. Willing to support both Production and Maintenance teams as required.
