Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mandarin Translator located in Demak. The role involves translating documents, correspondence, and other materials between Mandarin and the local language. The translator will also provide real-time interpretation during meetings, conferences, and communications. Furthermore, the role includes proofreading translated text to ensure accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and consistency, as well as collaborating with teams to provide linguistic support where required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin and the local language, with strong skills in written translation and verbal interpretation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in translating technical and formal language
• Experience with proofreading and editing translated content
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with cross-cultural communication and an understanding of cultural nuances
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing, construction, or similar sectors is an advantage
