Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze logistics business requirements (warehousing, transportation, forwarding, supply chain) and design suitable IT solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain logistics systems such as:
Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), Freight Forwarding System ERP/SAP integration.
- Enhance operational efficiency by automating manual processes (shipment tracking, delivery orders, billing, reporting).
- Provide technical support for operations, customer service, and management teams regarding logistics systems.
- Integrate internal systems with external platforms (customer portals, e-commerce platforms, customs systems, tracking APIs).
- Monitor system performance to ensure smooth supply chain operations (real-time tracking, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in logistics applications and system integrations.
- Prepare data-driven analytics and reports (inventory turnover, delivery lead time, operational cost efficiency).
- Stay updated on the latest logistics technologies (IoT, AI, big data, automation) and recommend system improvements or innovations.
Qualification:
- Experience at least 3 years in IT Developer/ IT Support
- Mandarin speaking will be a plus
- Proficiency using Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), Freight Forwarding System ERP/SAP integration.
- Need to have knowledge of warehousing or distribution related business
- Able to provide operational and system solutions for the operations department.
