Position: Associate – Interpretation Support (Medical Project)

Role: English & Mandarin Interpreter

Location: Work From Home (Orientation / equipment collection in Cyberjaya)

Working Schedule

• 5 working days per week
• Saturday & Sunday off
• Night Shift: 9PM–6AM / 10PM–7AM
• May support rotational 24/7 shifts based on business needs
• Shift allowance provided

Salary & Allowances

• Total package: Up to RM5,700+
• Basic Salary: Up to RM5,000
• Night Shift Allowance: Up to RM550+
• WIFI Allowance: RM150/month

Job Responsibilities

As an Over-the-Phone Interpreter (OPI), you will:

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Mandarin speakers
• Support medical, insurance, emergency, and customer service calls
• Maintain professionalism, neutrality, and confidentiality during live calls
• Handle sensitive or urgent situations calmly
• Follow interpreter protocols, QA standards, and coaching feedback
• Ensure high accuracy and cultural understanding in communication

Requirements

Fluent in Mandarin and English (B2+/C1 level)

Strong listening and communication skills

Able to work night shifts independently

Good emotional control during stressful or emergency calls

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality awareness
