Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Localization & Instructional Design:
- Localize, review, and adapt the Mandarin curriculum, lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessment tools supplied by the Singapore Head Office to match the learning dynamics of children in Indonesia.
- Design engaging, age-appropriate learning resources, worksheets, and interactive aids aligned with academic standards and learning objectives.
- Conduct curriculum research and recommend continuous improvements based on educational trends and second-language acquisition best practices.
Teacher Training & Academic Quality Assurance:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate comprehensive teacher training programs, workshops, and professional coaching sessions for new and existing Mandarin teachers.
- Conduct regular center visits (including Kelapa Gading and Gading Serpong) to perform classroom observations, evaluate teaching methodologies, and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor curriculum implementation across all centers to ensure absolute consistency and high academic quality.
Academic Operations & Regional Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Academic Team (Singapore) and Local Operations Team to ensure smooth project timelines leading to the January 2027 launch.
- Gather feedback from teachers, students, and parents to iteratively refine curriculum effectiveness.
- Prepare curriculum documentation, academic SOPs, teacher training manuals, and performance reports.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mandarin Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Certified HSK Level 5 (or equivalent) with advanced proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Over 5 years of curriculum development and academic management experience, with minimum 3+ years of recent experience in a strategic or managerial level and capacity.
- Direct experience in teaching or developing Mandarin curriculum & materials for young learners (children).
- Strong Senior Teacher experience with hands-on exposure in creating lesson plans or syllabus design are welcome, as the role focuses primarily on curriculum localization.
- Solid understanding of child pedagogy, instructional design, and second-language acquisition principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong bilingual communication skills in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) to interface effectively with regional stakeholders in Singapore.
- Strong project management, leadership, and interpersonal communication capabilities.
