The Opportunity

This growing organisation is a market-leading UK multinational specialising in mission-critical power infrastructure. As part of their strategic expansion into Southeast Asia, they are establishing a dedicated entity in Jakarta to service the rapidly growing Hyperscale Data Center and Energy sectors.

We are seeking a commercial President Director to launch and lead the Indonesian business.

The Role

This is a high-impact Player-Coach role for a commercially minded leader. You will not be managing a factory; you will be managing a high-value P&L, a small agile team (4-6 staff), and complex import operations.

• Commercial Leadership: personally drive business development and secure high-value contracts with Data Centers, Utilities, and EPCs (Engineering & Construction).

• Market Entry: Establish the legal entity, reporting structures, and brand presence in Indonesia.

• Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end supply chain of importing UK-manufactured equipment (Navigating Customs/Bea Cukai is critical).

• Governance: Act as the legal Head of Company (Presiden Direktur), reporting to Regional/UK HQ.

Who We Are Looking For

• The Repat: Ideally an Indonesian returning from Australia/UK/USA, or a top-tier local executive with extensive MNC experience.

• Industry Background: Experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Generation, or Critical Infrastructure would be well regarded.

• Versatility: Sophisticated enough to negotiate with C-Level Data Center executives, but hands-on enough to manage a small office and logistics.

• Language: Bahasa Indonesia and fluent English.
