Job Description:
- Have strong relevant experience in end-to-end supply chain management, particularly in manufacturing, logistics & warehouse management, and global procurement, PMC (Production & Material Control);
- This position is responsible to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and standardization across all Logistics functions, including Demand Planning, Supply Chain Development, Customer Service and Logistics. It aims to bridge the gap between daily operations and strategic planning by identifying potential savings, process optimization and improvement;
- Production Planning & Materials (PMC) Function: Production Planning controlling for daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and demand forecasts, creating and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS), balancing production capacity with customer requirements, including for monitoring production progress and adjust schedules when necessary. Material Planning & Inventory Control including for planning raw material requirements based on production schedules, monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability, preventing material shortages and excess inventory, optimizing inventory turnover while minimizing carrying costs, coordinating with Procurement for timely material purchasing. Production Control including for releasing production work orders according to the approved schedule, monitoring production performance against the production plan, identifying production delays and implement recovery plans, ensuring on-time completion of production orders. Order Management for the managing of reviewing customer orders and delivery commitments, coordinating order priorities with Sales and Customer Service, monitoring order fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery (OTD), communicating for schedule changes to relevant departments. Capacity Planning managing for machine analyzing and labor capacity, balancing workloads across production lines, recommending overtime or subcontracting when required, Identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
- Cross-Functional Coordination, for working closely with Department relationship and communication, such as: Sales Team, Procurement, Warehouse, Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics, and to ensuring smooth information flow throughout the production process;
- Managing the KPI achievement, monitoring & reporting, including this below monitoring Key performance indicators (KPIs), such as: On-Time Delivery (OTD), Schedule Adherence, Inventory Accuracy, Inventory Turnover (ITO), Excess & Obsolete (E&O), Material Availability, Production Plan Achievement, Customer Service Level, Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management;
- ERP/MRP System Management, maintaining the accuracy of production and material data in ERP/MRP systems, Update Bills of Materials (BOM), routing, and production schedules, generate material requirements using MRP, ensure data accuracy for planning activities;
- Continuous Improvement: Improve planning accuracy and scheduling efficiency, Reduce inventory costs and material waste, optimize production flow and resource utilization, Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Procurement Management Function: Procurement Strategy for the Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with company objectives. Analyze procurement spending and identify cost-saving opportunities. Establish procurement policies and best practices. Develop category management strategies for key materials and services. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers. Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier relationships. Conduct supplier performance evaluations (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Service). Lead supplier audits and business reviews. Develop supplier risk mitigation plans. Contract & Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery conditions. Negotiate long-term agreements with key suppliers. Ensure contractual compliance and supplier obligations are met. Cost Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality. Perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis. Identify opportunities for value engineering and alternative sourcing. Monitor commodity price trends and market conditions. Supply Chain Risk Management: Develop contingency sourcing strategies. Monitor supply risks and geopolitical impacts. Ensure business continuity for critical materials. Manage dual-source and backup supplier strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with PMC on material planning and demand forecasting. Coordinate with Production to ensure uninterrupted material availability. Collaborate with Warehouse to optimize inventory levels. Partner with Finance on budgeting and procurement cost control. Support Engineering and Quality during new product development and supplier qualification. Procurement Operations: Review purchase requisitions and procurement plans. Monitor procurement KPIs: Ensure timely delivery of materials. Improve procurement processes through continuous improvement initiatives;
- Warehouse Management Function: managing daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service. Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary. Meet regularly with warehouse leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention. Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages;
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics Management, Manufacturing Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage, from the top and reputable University in Indonesia;
- Minimum more than 5 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Production Planning & Material Control (PMC), Warehouse Management, Logistics, or Operations Management within a manufacturing environment;
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, and customer fulfillment;
- Experience in the printing and packaging industry (flexible packaging, labels, folding cartons, or related manufacturing sectors) is highly preferred, and strong knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, inventory control, material planning, warehouse management, logistics operations, procurement, and production scheduling;
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, Sales, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Logistics departments;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to identify operational risks and implement effective corrective actions. Proven experience in supplier sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, procurement strategy, and cost optimization initiatives. Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), production planning, Bills of Materials (BOM), inventory control, and capacity planning.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, or other operational excellence initiatives is an advantage, strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance management;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning software is required;
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, presentations, negotiations, and business correspondence. Proficiency in Mandarin (Chinese), both written and spoken, is highly preferred.
- Highly organized, proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, willing to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and travel for supplier visits, customer meetings, or business requirements when necessary;
