Role Overview

The Manager Deals Strategy & Operations will play a critical role in supporting deal-related strategy and execution initiatives, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. This role sits at the intersection of strategy formulation, transaction support, and operational execution, requiring strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

You will be expected to contribute meaningfully to client engagements, translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations, and help ensure high-quality delivery across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of deal strategy initiatives, including due diligence, market assessment, option analysis, and value creation planning
  • Analyse complex business issues and synthesise insights into clear, structured recommendations for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure effective project delivery and alignment with client objectives
  • Use data, research, and market insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making
  • Manage day-to-day engagement activities, ensuring work quality meets client and firm standards
  • Communicate complex concepts in a concise and structured manner, tailored to different stakeholder levels
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and internal knowledge
  • Uphold professional ethics, integrity, and high standards of conduct in all engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related fields from a reputable university
  • Typically 69 years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, transaction advisory, strategic planning, or equity research
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Exposure to deal-related workstreams such as due diligence, market entry strategy, commercial assessment, or strategic option analysis
  • Industry exposure in consumer, financial services, energy, technology, or adjacent sectors is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and manage multiple priorities
