Job Description & Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Manager Consumer Markets Industry to support the growth agenda across Consumer Market sectors. This role works closely with Industry Leaders, Account Teams, and Markets Teams to drive strategic planning, pipeline development, and client engagement initiatives.

You will play a critical role in translating industry strategy into actionable growth plans, supporting priority accounts, strengthening market positioning, and enabling highquality pursuit and proposal execution across the Consumer Markets portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Consumer Markets industry strategy, planning, and execution
  • Manage and track sales pipeline, pursuits, and performance metrics
  • Support priority accounts with account planning, insights, and opportunity tracking
  • Coordinate proposals and pitches, ensuring quality, compliance, and strong client positioning
  • Provide market intelligence, client insights, and competitor analysis
  • Collaborate with Markets Central on campaigns, events, and thought leadership

Qualification:

  • 610 years experience in business development, markets, or strategy (professional services preferred)
  • Strong understanding and interest of Consumer Markets (e.g. retail, consumer goods, agriculture etc.)
  • Proven experience in pipeline management, reporting, and proposal support
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills
  • Highly organized selfstarter, comfortable operating in a fastpaced, matrixed environment
  • Strong numerical aptitude with high attention to detail, particularly around financials
  • Proactive leader with the ability to drive own work and guide a small team
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal
