The Manager, Human Resources will provide leadership to develop and deliver workplace practices/policies/programs that promote engagement and sustainability while driving culture . Will provide expertise to ensure a positive ethical workplace , manage employee relations and conduct internal investigations. As the leader for our HR contributors , manager will provide advice, consultation, oversight, and mentorship and ensure that the needs of their team are met. This position reports to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Vice President, Human Resources.

  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures; maintains compliance with employment and laws and regulations.
  • Consult regularly with management and provide guidance when appropriate.
  • Oversee new employee orientation.
  • Provide training for new employees regarding company policies, confidentiality requirements, payroll structures and the specifications and details of respective benefits packages.
  • Analyze industry data to create payroll structures that accurately reflect an employee's experience, daily responsibilities and level of management; use benchmarking data to verify that salaries are competitive with what other companies are offering.
  • Assists with processing of terminations; outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  • Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Assists with the preparation and management of the performance review process.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Report and present regularly to executive management to assess how effectively human resource initiatives are enabling organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the human resources department to develop policies, programs, and solutions.
  • Undertake all responsibilities with a superior commitment to ethical practices, integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

In addition to traditional HRBP leadership, the Manager, Human Resources can help tackle the following:

  • Establish best in class HR processes, practices and procedures in Korea that are aligned with their Global HR Operations, JSOX compliant, and effective in their matrixed org structure
  • Provide leadership for local management, improve hire quality and retention, and facilitate effective communications with both local and Group leaders/employees
  • Accelerate hiring and provide organizational design advice, implement effective onboarding/training, and establish KPIs to report and analyze progress
  • Oversee HR team, establish Country HR practice, engage with global HR leadership team

자격 요건

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resource management acquired in an international company in Korea or overseas
  • Experience with an American company strongly preferred
  • HR experience in a manufacturing company
  • Fluent English skills both oral and written
  • Bachelor's or master's degree
  • Able to operate in a rapid growth environment
  • Willing to be an agent of change in terms of company culture

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities for the HR Team.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
