Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Finance, Accounting and Tax Manager to lead our accounting and tax team at Bizhare. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, project management, and leadership to support our financial strategy. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of both internal auditing and business process optimization.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from dari Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Gajah Mada, or similar. A Master Degree in Finance is a plus.
  • Certified Brevet A and B

Professional Experience:

  • At least 8+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Tax, with 3+ years in a managerial role, leading a team of 5 people at least.
  • Experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm or similar is highly preferred.
  • Experience in big corporations with consolidated financial statements of Holding Company is a plus.
  • Previous experience in internal audit and business process improvement is advantageous.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (PSAK, IFRS), tax regulations, and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with financial management software (e.g., Jurnal.id, Google Sheet, etc) and fintech reporting requirements.
  • Ability to develop complex financial reports, tax filings, and strategic financial models.

Managerial & Leadership Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing tax planning and reporting.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Develop and maintain a robust accounting system suitable for a fintech/startup environment, including the use of accounting tools.
  • Lead the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inhouse and audited financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee monthly closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure account reconciliation, ledger accuracy, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Provide management with variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and financial insights, also recommendation for optimization.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support the creation of the company's budget and financial forecasts; participate in scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Analyze cash flow and working capital usage to support execution of the company plan.
  • Lead the process of recap invoice list and payment schedule plan for vendors according to the cashflow projections.
  • Collaborate with business units (Business Development, Acquisition, Sales) to align operational and financial goals.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of all corporate tax obligations (PPH, PPN, SPT filings, etc.).
  • Maintain compliance with financial regulations (including OJK, Indonesian government regulations, ACRA for Singapore Entity and other related regulations).
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Establish and maintain internal policies, SOPs, and control systems related to finance, accounting, and tax.

Risk Management & Internal Control

  • Identify key financial risks (liquidity, credit, operational) and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Strengthen internal control systems (segregation of duties, approval matrix, audit trail).
  • Coordinate with auditors to ensure a sound control environment.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Finance, Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication across departments and with external stakeholders (auditors, consultants, tax authorities).
  • Set performance goals (OKRs and KPIs) and ensure the team delivers results on time.

Strategic Patnering & Business Growth Support

  • Act as a strategic partner to management in decisions involving daily operation, development, and business expansion.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights such as profitability analysis, cost-benefit evaluation, and break-even analysis.
  • Ensure that Bizhare's financial systems and tax structures support the scalability of its crowdfunding and SME-financing models.
