Manager Energy, Decarbonization, Transformation & Sustainability Advisory

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Indonesia's energy transformation agenda, helping major corporations, investors, state-owned enterprises, and government institutions navigate the transition toward a lower-carbon and more sustainable future.

As a Manager, you will lead strategic and commercial engagements across renewable energy, decarbonization, sustainable infrastructure, energy storage, electric mobility, hydrogen, carbon markets, and energy transition investments.

Examples of Projects You May Lead:

• Developing energy transition strategies for large energy and industrial groups
• Assessing investment opportunities across renewable energy and emerging technologies
• Designing decarbonization and net-zero roadmaps for major corporations
• Evaluating the commercial viability of renewable energy, battery storage, hydrogen, and alternative fuel projects
• Conducting market entry and growth strategy studies for energy and sustainability players
• Developing business cases, financial models, and investment assessments for energy transition initiatives
• Advising on regulatory frameworks, incentive mechanisms, and policy interventions to accelerate sustainable development
• Supporting governments, utilities, and private sector stakeholders on strategic energy transition programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex consulting engagements from project planning through delivery
• Lead strategic analysis, market assessments, business case development, and financial modelling activities
• Develop actionable recommendations for clients across energy, infrastructure, and sustainability sectors
• Engage directly with senior executives, investors, regulators, and government stakeholders
• Lead project teams and mentor junior consultants
• Contribute to proposal development, client pitches, and business development initiatives
• Collaborate with regional and global subject matter experts

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5–8 years of professional experience within consulting, energy, infrastructure, utilities, sustainability, renewable energy, strategy, corporate finance, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of one or more of the following:

• Energy Transition
• Renewable Energy
• Energy Storage
• Electric Vehicles & Battery Ecosystem
• Hydrogen & Alternative Fuels
• Carbon Markets & Decarbonization
• Energy Efficiency
• Power & Utilities
• Oil & Gas Transition

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities
• Experience in business case development, financial modelling, market analysis, or strategic planning
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead multiple workstreams and manage client relationships effectively
• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Environmental Science, Energy Studies, Business, or related fields
• Master's degree or MBA is advantageous
