Our client, a leading global professional services and advisory firm, is seeking a Manager to join its Financial Advisory practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions, supporting clients through critical investment and strategic decisions. The successful candidate will lead financial due diligence engagements, provide commercial insights, and manage client relationships across a broad range of industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for corporate and financial investor clients
- Analyze historical financial performance and assess key transaction-related areas including earnings quality, working capital, cash flow, indebtedness, and other critical financial metrics
- Identify key risks, opportunities, and value drivers to support transaction decision-making
- Prepare and present financial due diligence findings, reports, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Engage directly with senior management teams, investors, and transaction counterparties throughout the deal process
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality client service
- Utilize financial and operational data to develop meaningful insights and support strategic recommendations
- Lead, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Contribute to business development initiatives and support the continued growth of the Transaction Services practice
- Stay informed on market developments, industry trends, and transaction-related matters to provide relevant insights to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable university
- Strong academic track record throughout tertiary education
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in Financial Due Diligence, Audit, Assurance, or related advisory functions
- Demonstrated interest and experience in transaction-related work, including mergers and acquisitions and financial due diligence engagements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and audit methodologies
- Ability to analyze complex financial information and translate findings into clear, actionable commercial insights
- Broad business and commercial awareness with an understanding of key industry and market dynamics
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing team members
- High level of attention to detail, professional judgment, and commitment to delivering quality work
