What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:
- Manage the credit risk portfolio, including setting risk tolerance, adjusting credit scores, and conducting credit risk reviews.
- Perform routine portfolio monitoring, identify and understand risk factors across the credit lifecycle, and evaluate using a combination of leading/lagging and vintage indicators.
- Analyze the impact of regulatory or market changes and provide business insights related to those changes.
- Analyze data and trends and develop new statistical datasets to generate deeper insights.
- Provide input to credit policy managers to continuously improve analytical systems based on findings.
- Coordinate with business units on all risks related to the credit portfolio.
- Apply methodologies and execute quantitative asset quality metrics processes across all credit portfolios, including underwriting quality and collectability performance.
- Assess credit risks related to indirect financing activities.
- Develop and implement strategies and policies to mitigate identified credit risks, including policy/procedure decisions, system implementation, and portfolio management of indirect financing products.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the impact of potential risks on financial performance in indirect financing.
- Ensure policies comply with financial regulations and reporting requirements specific to the indirect financing industry and jurisdiction.
- Prepare and present regular reports on financial risk exposure, mitigation efforts, and financial performance to senior management and partners.
- Collaborate closely with partners and stakeholders to evaluate risk management strategies and ensure the financial health of the business.
What Is Required and What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, IT, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong skills in data analysis and visualization using tools such as Python, Power BI, Excel, and SQL (mandatory).
- In-depth working knowledge of all parts of the credit lifecycle (origination, underwriting, portfolio management).
- Experience in credit risk management or related areas, with strong knowledge of risk analysis and regulatory requirements, is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, including risk management and financial risk assessment, preferably in indirect financing
