BRMS Hiring: Manager - Community Relations & Development
Job Overview:
Responsible for leading the company's engagement and partnership with communities surrounding the mining operations. This role ensures that the company maintains a strong social license to operate by building trust, addressing community needs, and aligning programs with both corporate strategy and local development priorities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communication, Law, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years experience in community relations, CSR, or sustainable development, preferably in mining or large-scale natural resources projects, with At least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Certification or training in stakeholder engagement, CSR, or conflict resolution preferred.
- Strong experience in engaging with local communities and government stakeholders.
- Proven track record in managing social investment programs, community development projects, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Ability to build trust and maintain constructive relationships with local communities, traditional leaders, and government officials.
- Good knowledge of social mapping, stakeholder analysis, and risk assessment.
- Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in diverse local contexts.
- Willing to be placed and/or assigned in all working areas of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk & Group.
