Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development and Business Planning

. Support the development and refinement of agency growth strategy, transformation agenda, and multi-year roadmap

. Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, workplans, and measurable KPIs

. Conduct market scans, competitor analysis, and internal diagnostic reviews to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps

. Support annual business planning, target setting, and strategic reviews for the agency channel

2. Performance Management and Strategic Analytics

. Monitor agency performance across key dimensions such as recruitment, activation, manpower, productivity, persistency, retention, and business quality

. Generate insights from data to identify performance drivers, risks, and intervention opportunities

. Develop dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting for senior leadership and governance forums

. Provide strategic recommendations based on performance trends and scenario analysis

3. Strategic Initiative and Transformation Management

. Support the execution of strategic initiatives and transformation workstreams across recruitment, learning, productivity, incentives, digital enablement, and controls

. Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across key agency transformation projects

. Coordinate with business and support functions to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned to strategy

. Prepare materials and updates for steering committees, management reviews, and regional discussions

4. Executive Communication and Stakeholder Management

. Develop clear and insightful presentation materials for senior management, Board, regional stakeholders, and key agency forums

. Support the VP in framing strategic narratives, decision papers, and executive-level recommendations

. Work closely with Agency, Finance, Product, Distribution, Operations, Risk, and Analytics teams to align priorities and drive execution

. Facilitate discussions and follow-ups across stakeholders to ensure accountability and progress

5. Governance, Business Quality, and Continuous Improvement

. Support governance around key agency strategic initiatives, including tracking of KPIs, issues, and action plans

. Help identify structural bottlenecks and recommend improvements in agency operating model, management cadence, and decision-making

. Promote disciplined execution and continuous improvement in agency strategic management

. Ensure recommendations and initiatives are aligned with business quality, compliance, and long-term sustainability objectives

Candidate Profile

Education

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, or related field

. Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

. 5-8 years of relevant experience in strategy, business planning, performance management, consulting, analytics, or distribution strategy

. Experience in life insurance, financial services, or agency / distribution business is highly preferred

. Experience in cross-functional project management and senior management reporting is preferred

Technical Skills

. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capability

. Strong analytical and financial acumen

. Ability to structure business issues and synthesize insights clearly

. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills experience with BI tools is an advantage

. Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams with discipline

Leadership and Interpersonal Skills

. Strong communication and presentation skills

. Able to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

. High ownership, attention to detail, and execution discipline

. Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic transformation environment
