PT. INDAKO TRADING COY (ITC) was established in 1966 and is headquartered on Jalan Pemuda No. 18 D–H in Medan. In 1971, PT. Astra International appointed ITC as the main dealer for Honda motorcycles and Honda Genuine Parts in North Sumatra. Today, ITC is supported by hundreds of sales, service, and spare parts outlets that continuously improve to provide excellent service to Honda customers.

Role Description

The Management Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position in Medan. Management Trainees will learn core aspects of ITC's operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and basic administration within the Honda motorcycle and spare parts business. Daily tasks include supporting branch operations, assisting in monitoring sales performance, participating in reporting and data analysis, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The role also involves on-the-job training, mentoring, and rotational assignments across departments to build a strong foundation for future leadership roles. Management Trainees are expected to proactively contribute ideas for process improvement and uphold company standards in discipline, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum of a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and support operational decisions.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers and partners.
Basic knowledge of business, management, or related fields; familiarity with automotive or retail operations is an advantage.
Proficiency in using office productivity tools (such as spreadsheets and presentation software) and managing documentation accurately.
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting is a plus.
Willingness to participate in structured training programs and rotational assignments, with a strong interest in developing a career in management.
Ability to work on-site full time in Medan, demonstrate high initiative, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
