Role Overview
The MIS Manager is responsible for owning the company's management information, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely data is transformed into clear insights that support executive decision-making.
This role serves as the single source of truth for management reporting, bridging data systems, finance, and business teams to drive performance transparency and accountability.
What You Will Do
1️⃣ Management Reporting & Dashboards (Core Responsibility)
- Own and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve CEO and leadership dashboards
- Ensure all reports align with agreed and standardized KPI definitions
- Support board-level and investor reporting in close collaboration with Finance
2️⃣ KPI Ownership & Data Governance
- Define, document, and maintain official company KPI definitions
- Ensure KPI consistency across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Resolve data discrepancies and enforce a single source of truth principle
- Establish reporting standards, data governance rules, and access controls
3️⃣ Performance & Variance Analysis
- Track actual performance versus targets and budget
- Conduct variance analysis and identify key performance drivers
- Detect risks, anomalies, and early warning signals
- Translate performance data into actionable management insights
4️⃣ Business Decision Support
- Support leadership and management reviews with data-backed insights
- Prepare analytical materials for strategic and operational discussions
- Answer the why and so what, not just what happened
5️⃣ Data & System Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Technology and Data Engineering teams
- Ensure data pipelines effectively support management reporting needs
- Improve reporting automation and reduce manual processes
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, quality, and audit readiness
What We're Looking For
- 6–10 years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, FP&A, or Analytics
- Strong understanding of P&L, unit economics, and business performance drivers
- Excellent business communication and storytelling skills
- Comfortable presenting insights to senior management and executives
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and strong accountability
